GLR Week 2025

GLR Week 2025 July 28–August 1

Save the Date!

The Campaign for Grade-Level Reading (CGLR) is pleased to confirm that GLR Week 2025, our annual virtual gathering, has been scheduled for July 28–August 1. Please save the date and plan to join us!

GLR Week 2025 will feature a rich mix of webinars and peer exchanges, as well as a variety of in-person and online sessions, organized and hosted by CGLRs nationwide network of state and community lead organizations and stakeholder coalitions.

Spoiler alert! Artificial Intelligence (AI) is on the agenda! At least one of GLR Week 2025’s plenary sessions will focus on CGLR’s “big bet” that “technology-enhanced teaching and learning” would play an essential role in assuring equitable academic recovery from pandemic-precipitated learning loss. Announced during the pandemic, this “big bet” preceded the current enthusiasm and concerns around the promise, potential, and perils of AI.

In the lead-up to and during GLR Week 2025, our GLR Learning Tuesdays webinars will explore:

  1. How technology platforms and tools are supporting personalized learning and differentiation in the classroom, empowering parents to foster learning in the home and enabling engaging, hands-on learning in a wide range of informal learning spaces and community settings.
  2. The pace of progress of initiatives to assure the digital connectivity that will allow children of economically challenged families equitable access to the benefits of education technology.
  3. Whether and what guardrails and guidelines are needed to address well-founded concerns that the increased screen time and use of digital devices could compromise the overall well-being and development of young children.

Please save the date!! Make plans to join us throughout the week as we continue solutions-oriented conversations around early learning priorities and chronic absenteeism and explore the prospects for detoxing “school choice” by centering parents and student outcomes.
